Gt this meaingful paragraph from shiying's blog...(edited a bit)...

"Imagine one day, you stood at a bus-stop and you didn’t know where to go. Buses passed by, you had the choice to choose but you have no idea where you want to go. Then a bus to the land of money arrived and you see many people filing up to board the bus, would you follow? Is it what you really want? If, finally, you decided to go to the land of money, would you squeeze into the crowded bus?

People are studying for the sake of studying. In this society, do we have a chance to choose what we really want? People study degrees because they don’t want to lose out to other people. Some bit on their tongue and persevere through the whole course, just to secure their position in the society. Why it is that, money is everything now?

Why is it that, we look down on people with low education? What is life? Is it getting a degree? Is it being a doctor? Is it making lots of money? Or is it happiness? Don't you realize that as we advance forward, we are actually retreating backwards? Just like a quote :Every minute from the moment we were born, we are closer to death."

Its so damn true dont u guys agree? Ppl really do study just for the sake of getting a better job with a higher pay thats all...we cant really choose eh? So i think i will board the bus...cos its of NO CHOICE...
